Yesterday I got privilege to come to Oscar Lawalata show at Jakarta Fashion Week 2010/2011. I never had been this amazed with our traditional ikat weaving fabric so much. The collection is so awesome that I have to blog about it. In collaboration with UK woven textile designer, Laura Miles. They were doing research and development for the garments through out Nusa Tengara and West Java (garut) since earlier this year. Great exploration for our national heritage. Oscar and Laura made the fabric more light and easy, In conjunction with next summer vibrant new spirit. Form in variety of clean cut and contemporary silhouettes. Oscar collection this year is both bold and chic. Perfect for already intricate ikat. Dare I say this is how supposedly we represent our legacy.

Beautiful put out by an atheist. At first I’m not quite sure what is the purpose of the script; everything in this earth is bound to it by gravity is the first thing I understand. There is also dogma, propaganda and one women standing for herself.
Rachel Weisz mesmerizing performance as Hypatia, a scholar who is defining science as way of life; an answer is just another question on progress for her; open-minded teacher with high spirit of tolerance, in time where everybody just want to succeed their belief by hostility. Alluring plot come from infatuated slave Devus played by gorgeous Max Minghella. Make me realized love is loyalty and sincerity for what it takes.
For me the movie is about the beauty of a truth-seeker. Philosophical changes for those who are unbound with cluster thoughts. “You cannot question what you believe. I must.”

I thought my browsing agenda today will be all class and sophistication of the twenties, I was wrong (in all 20s part) and I was diverted. How am I not, look at this uber hot shoes made in Shauna Sand heaven. Nothing like screaming hierarchy on your foot steps, that is all I can say.
Actually one of my friend, Steffani Ten. Design almost the same wedge as this immaculate piece. But hers not got the same sass and audacity (insert irony here).

Recently I just re-new my dietary regimen, by that I mean I eat more now. Maybe I need more protein, now and again seems like I always get chilled every time the wind blows. I want to be healthier but not out of gym kind a healthy, but more like someone who visibly look skinny but inside they were solid nutrition. This is my plan; eat more vegetables, yogurt, fruits and also drink tons of milk-both dairy and soy, walk instead of waiting for taxi, limit the usages of sugar and salt (I know, fairytale sounds beautiful), dance my ass off and stay zero alcohol(I cannot promise on the latter). Yeah I'm going to try to make that happen. Cause there is always a reason to be skinny -but healthy.

Wearing fur in tropical country, seems like sweating suicide, but I still want it-bad. Not trying to make an excuse. I think the wind and the temperature here is get more chilling, it must be global warming effect (do not trust me!).
The point is, I need to layer up my fat-less corpse. It doesn't have to be real fur (hail to PETA) and I like them feathers too, but real life said that I have to be pricing conscious . So I think I will saving for faux fur instead.

The black one is amazing in every other outfit and it will fit perfectly with my boots, I like colorful fur. No, not that dolce and gabbana kind of bright one, but more like dusty purple that Boris Kolesnikov wore in 3rd pic and the red that eddy betty have from his Eccentriclassy 2008 collection. I want it... I want it-SO BAD.

Recently we got three new addition to our family, they are three beautiful goldfish. and they joining they big brother in little fountain that we got on my petit garden.

the bigger one comes months ago and he is common goldfish, I called him number #1. He used to have one other siblings but s/he is long gone, he's the only survivor. But hey, he got three other cute siblings now and they are fantail goldfish.

and since I'm running out of ideas I called them number #3 , number #4 and number #5. Adding #6, #10, #18 Voila! they will become DG perfumes anthology, cue Claudia.
